News and Notes
I've been writing MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN for three years [!?] and, despite rumors to the contrary, will gleefully continue do so even as Copper Bottle titles drop. I love this young man deeply and am not done telling stories about him yet! Our 29th issue, in which Miles gets an…err…amazing new costume, dropped this month. And some of the biggest events of Miles' life are yet to come!
SPIDER-MAN: BEYOND, the bonkers next phase of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, begins soon! I'm part of the 'Beyond Board,' an all-star team of folks who, TV writers' room style, have collaborated to tell a big story with individual issues written and drawn by different creators. We're ridiculously excited to share this with you guys -- starting with AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #75 in October!
On the DC end of things, I'm one of the writers on BATMAN UNBURIED, Spotify's big new scripted podcast that will star Winston Duke as Bruce Wayne. Audio drama is a new form for me, and writing for it has been a delightful challenge. Watch this space for more casting announcements and a launch date - I'm really geeked about this brand new take on a legendary character!
In the realm of television, FOUNDATION, Apple TV+'s massive, modern adaptation of Issac Asimov's groundbreaking series, drops on September 24th! I was only a small part of this show, helping to break story and 'blue sky' early in the process, but I can tell you all it's going to be something special.
And those are only the projects I’m allowed to talk about! Lots more happening that’s still under wraps - and this is the place to stay up-to-date on all of it!
